WIKO ADDS FRENCH FLAIR TO IFA

2LK helped new French phone handset manufacturer Wiko go from strength to strength this month at their second visit to IFA in Berlin.

Attracting big crowds and media attention at the world's leading consumer electroncis and home appliance trade show, this our 6th install for Wiko worldwide including Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and AfricaCom in Cape Town, featured the iconic, towering 6m high ‘W’ plus high spec meeting rooms and hospitality space. Next stop MWC 2017.

FIREEYE AT BLACK HAT USA

Hosted earlier this month at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, Las Vegas, Black Hat, is one of the world’s largest info security events. Joining some of the biggest names in this fast changing industry, sponsor FireEye made a significant impact with a daily presentation programme and booth. Designed by 2LK as a ‘light’ version of their flagship RSA stand, this compact space housed an animated acrylic feature wall to ensure FireEye stood out on the show floor.

SUCCESS AT CANNES LIONS 2016

Cannes draws the biggest names in entertainment and advertising and 2LK were once again at the heart of the action. Creating and building Lions Health, Lions Innovations, Lions Entries and new for 2016 Lions Entertainment, our work framed, showcased, presented and played host to the best in the industry during the 5 day festival in June.

 

WELCOME BACK KYLE!

Following a busy stint away designing, taking up rock climbing and driving a £500 Volvo around the infamous Nurburgring (watch out Top Gear, we may have found a new presenter!), 3D Designer Kyle Tetley is returning to 2LK. A rising creative talent within the agency, Kyle will be working alongside Andy Sexton on key accounts. “I’ve learnt a lot from my time away, however I’ve missed having the bigger more involved role that I had at 2LK. I can’t wait to get back and get stuck in again!”

2LK RANKS IN DESIGN WEEK TOP 50

2LK has taken 49th spot in the Design Week Top 100 listing published this month.  A detailed and holistic analysis of the financial state of the creative industry, the survey ranks the 100 most successful independent UK design businesses across all sectors based on total fee income. Spotlighting growth, turnover, projections and staffing levels, it’s a solid insight into the agency movers and shakers!

OLIVER LEA JOINS TEAM

We’re delighted to welcome Oliver Lea to the agency. “With over 19 years project management experience and a wealth of knowledge across a number of sectors including aviation and defence, he’ll be a great asset” said Gareth Jex, 2LK’s Managing Director. Tasked with expanding the production and delivery department Oliver starts next month.

GEMFIELDS SHINES AT VICENZAORO DUBAI

Hosted in the city of gold, Vicenzaoro Dubai attracted over 35,000 visitors from the world of jewellery and this year our client, coloured gemstone specialists Gemfields were there too. Next stop for our high-end modular stand is the India International Jewellery Show, Mumbai in August.

MAKING A BIG IMPACT AT BETT

Take a look and see why our client dominated on the show floor at this years BETT. With a high impact circular booth, reflecting their 360° learning positioning each zone showcased innovations and technology inside and outside the class room. Visitors could even try a game of hopscotch!
